Full-Time Lead Minister
Job Description:
Heartlands Church is an independent, non-denominational group of 350 that strive to be rooted in Jesus and released to share His love with everyone around us. Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, Heartlands Church was planted as a South Lincoln church of Christ in 1997 and began a journey of helping people discover the freedom and life that comes from Jesus. We are a multi-generational church who strives to be a welcoming family and place for people to belong.
We are seeking a full-time lead minister to work with the shepherds and ministry staff, setting vision, direction, and motivation. In addition, the lead minister will work with the body in continuing the mission we are called to in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary pulpit teaching that effectively communicates Biblically grounded, Christ-centered teaching.
Provide primary direction in determining sermon and/or teaching topics.
Works with other ministry staff in equipping members for ministry.
Intentionally engage in the lives of the members of Heartlands Church and the local community.
Qualifications:
Passionate follower of Jesus
Bachelor’s Degree in Bible or Ministry preferred or comparable relevant work experience
Committed to Biblical truth and grace
Mission-minded with a focus on community building within Heartlands and community outreach that shares the hope of Jesus and the gospel
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years experience in full-time senior minister position preferred, but all interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
