Get Ready to 'Move It!'
New Sermon Series Begins Jan. 8th
Today begins quite an adventure for Heartlands Church as we begin 2012. In 2011 we spent so much time clarifying what is important to us as a church. We clarified that God calls us to be a movement not a location. We clarified that we are all missionaries living out the mission of Jesus in our world. We saw and identified the things that kill mission and highlighted the Jesus Heart that causes mission to flourish.
In 2012 we will focus on taking that mission and lay out How to Move the Movement of God that is Heartlands Church. We want to take the mission and make a Jesus imprint on our world. The series we begin today will look at a story in the Old Testament that illustrates how a movement moves! It is the story of Nehemiah. This series will be unique in that we will not just learn about Nehemiah we will be challenging each other to participate in the movement of God right here at Heartlands. We will look
at a principle of "Movement" in the story and then we will will take some time to live it out as a church.
This journey will bless you! We will see that the whole story in Nehemiah was not just to rebuild a wall, it was to rebuild the hearts of His people! This is our prayer for 2012. We desire that our hearts will change grow in the movement of God... together.
Come prepared for a world of change!
