Jim Tuttle

Jim is the Senior Minister at Heartlands. Jim is an original member of Heartlands and helped plant it in 1997. He has served as Senior Minister since day one and is still excited about what God continues to do here. He continues to be inspired by who Jesus is and loves to inspire others with that message.
Jim is a native of Ulysses, Kansas and received a Bachelors Degree in Business at Abilene Christian University. During his business career he was called to ministry at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas. While serving there he received a Masters Degree in Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University and moved to Lincoln in 1991.
The best 22 years of his life have been spent with his wife Judy. Judy is an integral part of ministry at Heartlands and is also a High School Math Teacher in Lincoln. Jim and Judy have two children. Kristin age 18 and Carson age 16. Contact Jim

Trent Baker

Trent has a passion to see children and teenagers come to know Jesus Christ personally and to live out their faith in Him so that they “shine like stars in the universe.” He is deeply concerned that families not just survive but THRIVE in this day and age. Trent is fully committed to the fact that Christ’s Church has got to be THE changing force today if this world is to have any hope at all.

Trent is blessed to have an incredibly supportive wife who loves Christ first and serves her family and the church daily. Trent and Robin have two girls and two boys – Micah, Lydia, Caleb, and Levi. Trent and Robin are working on their 17th year of marriage. Contact Trent

Jody Schrage

Jody has been with Heartlands Church since the beginning.  She earned her Associates degree in Secretarial Management from York College.  She has 30 years experience spending the last 11 years working with the church.  She is excited about the future of Heartlands Church.  She has been married to her husband, Scott for 21 years and has two children, Chelsea is 19 years old and is a freshman at Wayne State College.  Elliott is 16 years old and a sophomore at Lincoln Southwest High School.  In her spare time she enjoys, reading, rubber stamping, camping and church activities.
